A GOP party spokesman says any Democratic contender will suffer the same fate as Coleman if "new ideas" aren't put forward.
Ohio GOP Spokesman John McClelland says, "This is just another example that the Democrats are in disarray. They have no ideas, no vision, no leadership and Mike Coleman found out you can't run statewide campaign on cute political cartoons or finger pointing."
What do you all say to this???
My thoughts are that by definition conservatives/regressives are unable to come up with new ideas because they want to attempt to put up walls to protect themselves from the ever changing world in which we live. I mean they have stolen our get out the vote strategy, they have copied our cannidates speeches and techniques for their own use. (See Walker Bush's Second Inaugural and see how he tries to be like JFK Sr.) On a side note Mike Coleman would have beaten Ken Blackwell and nullfied any racial nonsense that the Blackwell campaign put out. Now we will see. I'm hoping that Theodore Strickland has what it takes to win and that he and Sherrod Brown help each other out on election day next year and Ohio gets two excellent new statewide leaders.
