Now I know many of you are wondering who is this person I'm speaking of who fits the requirements almost perfectly and has the ability to in one fell swoop lop of the head of a state Republican Party? It's a man who life has been like a Horatio Alger story coming from poverty on the South Side of Chicago to being able to sit at the highest levels of government and bussiness. A man whose commitment to his principles is immovable and who is willing to listen to the ideas of the average man on the and his grassroots campaign supporters unlike 99% of the those who run for public office.
This man is Deval L Patrick, Democratic cannidate for Massachusetts Governor. A man endorsed and called by Barack Obama as a better cannidate than he was when he ran two years ago. A man who is completely unwilling to subscribe to the pronoucements of pundits or the media in all of it's varied forms. A man whom came from nothing to being able to attend some of the nation's finest educational institutions Milton Academy prep school, both Havard College and Harvard Law School. A man while at Harvard Law School won their award for best orator. A man whom talked his way onto a UN mission in Sudan despite having his contact there leave weeks before and not telling them that he was coming. A man who served as the chief legal council for NAACP instead of going for a cushy private sector postion. A man who lead the largest crimal investigation in history before 9/11. However the best way for you all to understand the natural appeal of this man is to watch him speak. Which is something you can do by pasting this link into your browser. (His Massachusetts Democratic Convention Speech is one you should sample first as it shows his ability to captivate and inspire an audience over a long period of time)

He truly is a once in a generation cannidate who will bring a tidal wave of change and economic progess to the state which has more potential than any other to help solve the great scientific and medical problems of our day and take the lead in restoring America's history of being on the cutting edge of progress and move us a large step closer towards that "more perfect union" that we all strive and hope for.
